Our Ladybug Adventures

Welcome to our family website!

In June 2007, we traveled to Jiangsu, People's Republic of China and met our daughter for the first time. It was quite an adventure! We shared our travels with our family and friends via our blog and you can read about it by clicking on the link to the left labeled "China". It will take you to the first blog entry and you click through the twelve days we spent in Nanjing and Guangzhou. Our blog also tells of our Adoption Journey prior to leaving for China and of our adventures with our Ladybug once we arrived home.

We waited nearly two years from the time our application was sent to our adoption agency to the time we held our daughter for the first time. During this time the China Program changed many times through longer wait times and changes in eligibility, yet China still remains one of the most stable international programs for adoption.
